Wine Gifts for the Wine Lover

In the spirit of holiday shopping, I have compiled a list of some of my favorite {wine} things.

Wine Gifts

1.  Vacu Vin 0981450 Wine Saver Vacuum Wine Pump with 2 Stoppers
2.  Wine Cork Lazy Susan Kit
3.  WMF Vino Variable Wine and Processo Corkscrew
4.  Screwpull S1415-31 4-Wheel Foil Cutter, Black
5.  Stackable Wine Rack-72 Bottles Modular Hardwood Wine Racks, Very Easy to Put Together
6.  Farberware Bar And Wine Series Champagne Stopper
7.  Whynter WC-321DD 32 Bottle Dual Temperature Zone Wine Cooler, Stainless Steel Trimmed Glass Door with Black Cabinet
8.  Vinturi Deluxe Aerator Gift Set

Ok, so here is the run-down:

1. The Wine Vacuum is a total essential!  This baby will keep your wine fresh for about 5 days, that is just my experience.  Special corks allow you to suck out the air from the bottle, preserving the yummy taste of your wine.  So, go ahead and open that bottle of wine when you are home by yourself!  It won’t go bad, you have a few days to drink it.  One glass every day = no more wasted wine.

2. The Wine Cork Lazy Susan is such a fun gift!  It is a great way to showcase your wine corks.  You can see a tutorial of it here, Mama Winemaker made one!

3. I love using a wine corkscrew for opening my bottles.  I don’t use the fancy automatic openers.  What I love about this one is that you don’t have to pull the cork out.  The cork screw lifts the cork out for you!  Easy Peasy.

4. A foil cutter is another essential.  It easily slices through the foil on the wine bottles like butter. The underneath has 4 knife wheels that do the work, so you don’t have to!  Just squeeze and twist.

5. I would love to have stackable wine racks.  These wood ones look gorgeous, can hold a ton of wine, and you can put them anywhere…even in a closet!  Now anyone can have a wine cellar!

6. The Champagne Stopper is a new gadget for me.  I love drinking Champagne, but once again, I don’t finish the bottle in one sitting, then the fizz goes flat.  Womp womp.  This wine stopper will allow you to have a glass one day, and again the next day…nice and bubbly! Love.

7. A Wine Cooler is definitely a want on my list {along with those stackable wine racks…hint hint Hubby} especially if it can be installed under the counter in my kitchen.  This one looks gorgeous.  They do come in all sizes and colors, so just pick out one that makes you happy.

8. The Wine Aerator.  I absolutely love this gadget!  Typically, you want to open a bottle of wine and let it breath for awhile.  But, I’m just not that patient.  With this gadget you pour your wine through it, it automatically aerates, and the wine tastes lovely.  You can read all about it here.

I have never tried the auto wine openers…so I didn’t want to recommend anything that I haven’t tried. But, if you do get one, please let me know what you think of it! That said, I’m just a dork and I love the twisting of uncorking a wine bottle. Cheers Dear! ~S

Dear Santa, I want a MUCH LARGER wine fridge; and if you can’t fit that into your sleigh, how about a champage bottle stopper! Love and Cheers!
