Angeline Sauvignon Blanc – Wineabe Wednesday

Happy Wine{a}be Wednesday! We made it to the middle of the week. YAY!

This week I’m sharing a Sauvignon Blanc. My good friend, Tina, first introduced me to this varietal when she came to visit me in California on a trip with her family.  We had such a good time hanging out at her hotel pool and hitting the beach on Coronado Island.  It was much needed girlfriend time and our kids had fun playing with old friends.  It is moments like these, over good wine, that last forever!  She said something to me on that trip that has stuck with me ever since…“I’ve never met a sauvignon blanc that wasn’t a friend of mine”.

Wineabe Wednesday, Angeline Sauvignon Blanc,

Angeline, Sauvignon Blanc, Russian River Valley

Tasting Notes: Enticing aromas of exotic spices and fresh picked limes. Green apple and freshly cut hay are all wrapped up in a juicy, zesty mouthfeel. Sassy!

Pairs well with: Delicate seafood dishes, Sushi, and crisp green salad with vinaigrette dressing.

Since my time with Tina, I have tried, and fell in love with, Sauvignon Blanc.  There is just something absolutely delightful about it.  Fresh, crisp yet smooth, sunny, happy, and full of good memories.

Have you tried this wine?  How about Sauvignon Blanc?
